Trauma and PTSD Therapy

Trauma significantly affects the way we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. Most people have experienced at least one traumatic event in their life. Trauma can involve a single incident such as a car accident or sexual assault or can refer to a history of relational abuse or neglect. Counselling can provide a safe space for you to talk about your traumatic experience and explore the impact that the trauma has had on your life. It then helps you address these consequences and help you learn to feel safe again in your body and surroundings.
